János Vázsonyi, născut în 1970 la Budapesta, provine dintr-o familie de muzicieni. El a fost un saxofon major la Ferenc Liszt din Budapesta Academia de Muzică. Ataşamentul său pentru muzică clasică şi baroc a fost aprofundate de muzica cu tatăl său violonist şiprofesor de pian mama. Aranjamente sale speciale – corn-saxofon, orga-saxofon – calcemodelele obişnuite de interpretare, şi proiectul său solo prezent este, de asemenea, o aventură unică în domeniul muzicii clasice: el joacă sonate canonul de Telemann şi soloaltele, înlocuind solo secunde instrument cu un ecou. /

János Vázsonyi, born in 1970 in Budapest, comes from a family of musicians. He was a saxophone major at the Budapest Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music. His attachment to classical and baroque music was deepened by playing music with his violinist father and piano teacher mother. His special arrangements – horn-saxophone, organ-saxophone – transgress the usual interpretation patterns, and his present solo project is also a unique venture in the area of classical music: he plays the canon sonatas of Telemann and others solo, substituting the second solo instrument with an echo. /

Vázsonyi János (Bp.) jazzkoncertje a kolozsvári Jazzybirds együttes közreműködésével

Vázsonyi János szaxofonos 1970-ben született, zenész csalátban. A Budapesti Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti egyetem jazz tanszakának szaxofon szakára járt. Több zenekarban is játszott, amelyekkel többször túrnézott Franciaországban, Olaszországban és Németországban. A klasszikus és a barokk zenéhez fűződő viszonyát zenész szüleivel való együttjátszás során mélyítette el. Különleges hangszerelési megoldásaival – kürt-szakxofon, orgona-szaxofon – igazi unikumként ismerik a klasszikus zene területén.
