„Interesting and a lot better than most that try to make musical companions to scenes of the beach life.” (Potholes In My Blog)
„Close your eyes for a brief moment and listen carefully to that soft piano just barely touching the surface.” (Flashlight Tag)
„That intro is the tits. And the jam, well, as smooth sailing as that bro’s curly mullet.” (yvynyl)
„With a tracking that force smiles, Slow Magic grabbed our attention immediately. The parts are so flawless that you long for the repetition; the most minor variance worthy of praise.” (Dingus)

“…Brooklyn’s Selebrities, alluringly sleazy purveyors of summertime gothic electro-pop.” (NME)
“You don’t have to dip far into music history to find the ingredients of Selebrities nostalgic pop. It’s very New Order and it’s a bit Altered Images, but thousands of bands rip off these same influences and barely any make it sound this fresh.” (VICE)
“Selebrities are an immaculate conception.” (The Guardian)
“Brooklyn’s starry-eyed new-wavers Selebrities were featured by Delicious Scopitone, who aptly compared them to both New Order and Chromatics for their lo-fi gem ‘Time’”. (Pitchfork)
